Ans: 
*  An online database is database  accessible from a local network or the internet, as supposed to one that is stored locally on an individual computer or it's attached storage.

* Online database are hosted on websites, made available as software as a service products accessible via a web browser.

*A database is a collection of information that is organized so that it can be easily accessed,manage, and updated.
